Job Description
Our client, a leading construction and building services company, is seeking an experienced Mechanical Estimator to join their team.
The ideal candidate will have strong expertise in reviewing drawings, plans, and specifications to provide accurate cost estimates for mechanical installations. Projects include water flow, heating, gas systems, and piping across large industrial, commercial, and residential buildings.
Responsibilities

Review technical drawings and specifications to prepare detailed cost estimates.

Analyze materials, labor, and equipment requirements for mechanical installations.

Collaborate with project managers, engineers, and contractors to ensure accurate estimates.

Identify potential cost-saving opportunities and provide recommendations.

Maintain and update estimating databases and records.

Ensure compliance with industry standards, safety regulations, and company policies.
Requirements

Proven experience as a Mechanical Estimator (water, heating, gas, and piping installations).

Ability to interpret technical drawings, blueprints, and specifications.

Strong knowledge of construction materials, labor, and cost analysis.

Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.

Proficient in estimating software and Microsoft Office suite.

Strong communication and collaboration skills.
